Second day of attachment, rather slack. Young is staying at my house till the end of our attachment period. For your infomation, HE is a GUY.

What happened on the first day? Basically orientation, collection of coveralls and personal protective equipements (safety belt, life line, helmet and ear plugs) also known as PPE for short. Had a short induction test, which only 3 out of 6 person pass (LOL, me young and win. EN SHAO FAIL! =X). The test was rather strict and straightforward, you need to have full marks to pass.

Right after the test was lunch. Woah, the canteen was super packed, no space (=/). he only way to get your food was to cut que. Win, called the lady at the store "AUNTIE" which he immediately got a stare from the lady. She replied in mandrin "There is no aunite here OK!".

After that, Young rushed of for his FTT. Met up with our mentor and dispatched into our respective divisions and we slacked the rest of the day. I'm in the machinery division.

Day 2, took the company bus to Keppel. The bus was suppose to come to us, but instead, we went to the bus across the street (=.=), simple case of misunderstanding. Reached, changed, and headed off to meet my mentor.

The day started and will start with a safety inspection. The division heads gathered and walked about the department working area to inspect for potential hazards. At that point of time, what ever I studied for Marine Industrial Safety came in to use. Things like poor housekeeping, fire ,tripping and falling hazards were all spotted and corrected on the spot.

The rest of the day was spent at the side workshop hammering and removing paint, silicon, rubber, and rust from the portholes (windows on board the ship).

There might be a ship departing tomorrow. Hope I can get a glimsp of the departure (^^).
