Birthdays are wonderful days that you celebrate the number of years after your first breath.

My day started at 0000 when the first S.M.S. lit up my living room. It was from my FYP leader and he ask me to settle a bunch of FYP stuffs before wishing me happy birthday (how retorical, [=.=]). After his was a few more messages before I headed off to dreamland.

Was woken up by a few messages through the night, but well, I can't complain. It's something to be happy about. How I really wish handphones could have a function to reply numerous messages at a go. The reply will be standard "Haha, thanks, have a great day" or somewhere along that line.

Well, I have to wake up and as soon as I woke up, a call regarding FYP matters came. Headed down to the boat yard, still with a little excitement in me. Did a couple of stuffs and confirmation, before heading back. That was when things started to go wrong...

As usual, I was cycling back (I always do), when... This guy riding a 400cc bike came for a turn and little did that guy realise he was heading for the pavements where this birthday guy was. Upon impact, I was sent flying a distance from the point of impact. My bike front tire burst and that 400cc guy went off like nothing has happened. I walked back home with a bruised left knee, and cuts on my fingers and legs. I was lucky not to have landed on the road.

Is there anyone out there who is as lucky as me? To survive an accident on your birthday? For that, drum lesson was postpone, dinner with friend was also postponed. How nice...
