Finished 5 books in a spam of 1 week, outstanding, well they were all short stories written by Low Kay Hwa - a Singapore writer. I waited twice the duration for the books to come and finished within a week... Best thing about the books are that they only cost roughly $10 each, the books were due and so I got a $20 cheque back as a promise made by the company.

Thats sums up the number of books I have read in 2010 to 10. Due to my constant reading of book, I think that some people think of me as a nerd, haha.

Joint term now will be the final leg to my path to commissioning. Sad to say I can only bring 4 guests in on the day so the rest... So Sorry... Have been attending plenty of parade rehearsals under the sun and have developed very ugly tan lines due to the sleeveless t-shirt that we were wore due to standardizing. Joint term is also the time when cadets come back and talk about their "war stories" from their respective vocations, sharing knowledge with each other and getting to ask about others everyday life back at their respective training institutes and civilian life.

I don't feel the welcome feeling back as I have expected, maybe cause I wasn't that welcome in the first place? Just another guy who "chao keng-ed" and is not "up".

Currently, I just feel like commissioning and another part of me feels like staying as a cadet and enjoying life, how I wish I could re-do my cadet life and do better by not falling out during exercises. One of my instructor told me I could easily be in top 10 (not the current top 30) if I have not fell out. I have no idea if he was telling the truth or just trying to console me.

My vocation training institute has signed those fast runners (those whom clocked under 10 mins in their 2.4km run) into the competitive section of this years Army half marathon (21km). How nice...
