Tomorrow is my Appointment Certification Presentation Ceremony (A.C.P.C. for short) and Military Dining-In. Getting my long awaited sword tomorrow! Time really flies, during one of the parade rehearsals, I had this feeling that I was back to day one where I reported to Officer Cadet School (SAFTI MI). Standing at the top right corner of the parade square, our instructors donned our first ever white strips for us. It was a moment I have long awaited since secondary school. Then came the next surprise, I was in one of the most "UP" wing, Alpha wing.

Time really fly and exercise after exercise, weekends after weekends, confinements after confinements, turn outs after turn outs (the list goes on). 37 weeks have passed in what those whom had come before us have always said, in a blink of an eye. Life has its' ups and downs and I have really learnt and changed drastically (besides slimmer) during the past 37 weeks. True that my temper has changed for the worst but I vowed to change for the better.

I began to understand the importance of family, money, time, love and plenty of other minute stuffs that has been oblivion to me in the past.

I might not have been able to survived through this 37 weeks if not for my ever supportive and comforting girlfriend, Riley, and my parents. I must really thank my dad for sending me back to camp despite the ridiculous hours, demands and fatigue. My mum for her cooking (I could now taste the great difference between home cooked food and the rest), for putting up with my temper when I'm stressed or fatigued and the rest of the backstage things that she has done for me. Not much thanks to my annoying brother but at times thoughts of him kept me going as I wanted him to proudly tell his friends that he has a brother that is/was an officer not an Out-Of-Course cadet, I didn't want to let him down. My friends for telling me they are there and always will be.

I know that, after commissioning, the real game starts. I'm not sure if I will be able to cope but I vow that I will not stop trying not much for the sake of myself but for the sake of those mentioned above and to prove to those that has once looked down upon me that I can be someone! It might sound that I'm vengeful but you guys don't know half of the story.

Ha, just realised that I have typed a what seems to be a valedictorian speech. There will might be another post about my OCS life, stay tuned, haha.
